I'm grateful for this much needed opportunity for me to sink my teeth into several writing projects. These include a teaching resource all about growing food called ‘Growing Stories’, the history of the Awaawaroa Eco Village and a women and plants project.

The residency fulfils a dream to spend some time in the Hokianga and to live in a wooden church but does come with overheads and no financial support.

I am giving some performances of our new show ‘Bat’s Incredible’ in June to help raise funds. Hopefully you can make it to a show but if you’d like to make a koha/donation to support my mahi/work, I’d be most grateful.
