Lets Get our Local Girl to Thailand and beyond
Manawatu / Whanganui
Isabella Parkes, Whanganui born and raised, , has been selected to represent New Zealand at the World Youth Futures Cup in Thailand next month
— a direct pathway to the Youth Olympic Games held in Senegal in November 2026.
To compete, she needs to raise over $5,000 to cover flights (including back for training camps), accommodation, competition fees, and team gear.
She is seeking sponsors or support to help her step onto the world stage and proudly represent Whanganui and New Zealand.
Isabella has been a competitive boxer since the age of ten and started her journey with River City Boxing Club in 2018. She has been selected for the New Zealand Development Squad annually since 2023 and has won Three North Island Golden Gloves Championships and is the current National Champion (for the third consecutive year) in her weight category.
There is a very short window of time (less than four weeks) to fundraise for Thailand and any support you can give would be most appreciated
Thank you for your consideration
