Helping Aidan replace the stolen camera gear he relies on for his livelihood after a devastating burglary.
Auckland
Last week, our friend Aidan was the victim of a devastating burglary in which $100,000 worth of professional camera equipment was stolen from his locked home.
This wasn’t just “stuff” - it was the gear he relies on for his livelihood and creative work. Cameras, lenses, and film equipment built up over years of dedication and hard work are now gone, with at best, insurance only covering a fraction of what was lost.
Aidan works in the film and creative industry, and this loss has had an immediate impact on his ability to work and earn an income. He is self-taught, deeply talented, and has been incredibly generous with his skills, time, and equipment over the years, contributing to documentary series and projects that shine a light on important social issues.
We’re starting this Givealittle to help ease the financial burden of replacing essential equipment so he can get back on his feet and back behind the camera.
Any contribution, big or small, would mean the world. If you’re unable to donate, sharing this page would help immensely.
Thank you for supporting a great person through a truly brutal situation.
- Family and Friends of Aidan
I’m Ella Wells, a friend and colleague of Aidan Rogers, organising this fundraiser on behalf of his family and friends to help him recover from this devastating loss.
Funds raised will go toward replacing Aidan’s stolen camera gear and essential film equipment so he can return to work and rebuild his livelihood.
