Support Aigagalefili in making it to the WorldStrides Gap Year Program!🌎🌺

Talofa lava! My name is Aigagalefili Fepulea’i - Tapua’i, I’m 19 years old and I’m the proud daughter of immigrant parents, South Auckland and Samoa.
I'm an award winning published poet/orator, Pacific youth advocate and indigenous environmental activist. I currently study Environmental Sciences and Law at the Auckland University of Technology. Now I’ve been invited by WorldStrides to participate in their WorldStrides Gap Year Program where I’ll be studying sustainability in Paris, engaging in community work in Spain and studying contemporary environmental issues in Greece from September to December.
I recognise that through this program, I have the responsibility to be a vessel for perspectives from New Zealand - Pasifika, indigenous, South Auckland, low socio-economic views - that don't get heard from on a world stage especially in climate conversations. Not only will I be able to represent Aotearoa, but all the communities that don't often get heard from that have raised me too. I want to dedicate myself to grow as a leader, artist and activist so I can bring back this knowledge to do more work for our home and encourage other youth to make the most of the opportunities that come to them.
Any contribution is appreciated and with these donations, I promise to do that to the best of my ability to represent us well!🫶🏽
Donations made will contribute to the remaining tuition costs for my study’s overseas, as well as living expenses during the 3 months I’m there.
