Support Alix Bartholomew to represent New Zealand DS team Jiu Jitsu on the world stage!

Hi Everyone

I am a brown belt in Jiu-Jitsu and have been training in the martial art for 7 years now.

The IBJJF Jiu-Jitsu World Master Championships are being held at the Las Vegas Convention Center from August 31st -September 3rd - it has been my dream to go and get my next world championship title.

I am a serious and passionate competitor as I feel it is important to represent and inspire woman and show the world what we are capable of. This will be my 3rd attendance and will be the biggest year yet. I am currently a 2x World Champion gold medallist, competing in 2019 and 2021 at this prestigious event. I truly believe with all our life choices - if you can dream it you can make it a reality. My hope is to turn my goal of returning to the championships and claiming another world title a reality with your help.

Jiu-Jitsu is a self-funded sport in New Zealand. Working and training both full time comes with its obstacles and financial strain - I am not able to fund my trip alone.

I am asking for offers in help of assistance to help pay for flights and accommodation so I can focus on training to be able to represent and inspire women to believe in their dreams and go for it!

I know it’s been tough times for many people so a little help goes a long way.
