Support Amery’s Fight Against Medulloblastoma

Amery, a brave 6 year-old girl, was diagnosed with medulloblastoma on September 24, 2024 and was advised to undergo urgent surgery. Six days later, she underwent an operation to remove the tumor and remained in the hospital for 20 days. The biopsy results confirmed it as grade 4. She then underwent 30 days of radiation therapy, starting on November 13, 2024.

In January 2025, Amery began chemotherapy and is currently in the third cycle of nine. Each chemotherapy session is scheduled 3 -three times a month, requiring 1 hospital admission. She also underwent a minor procedure to insert a portacath for her treatments. To monitor her progress, she is scheduled for an MRI in April.

Her father is currently unemployed to focus on her care, while her mother works at a consumer finance company and started baking cookies for their everyday needs. Amery also has a 13-year-old brother in 8th grade. The family rents their home and with mounting medical expenses, their financial situation has become increasingly difficult.

They have sought government assistance through a guarantee letter, but their hospital funds are running low. With the upcoming elections, some politicians have tightened restrictions on aid, prioritizing only registered voters from their area.
