Help support Ange, our courageous niece, cousin, and friend, through her cancer journey.
Otago
As most of you know our beautiful courageous niece Ange Newton has been in hospital recently with a severe infection. It was through routine tests determining why she was so unwell, that it was discovered she also has bowel cancer. As the weeks go by and treatment progresses, Ange will not be able to work everyday and Mark may also have to take time off to care for her and the children .
This will undoubtedly be a very challenging time, both emotionally and financially for them. People have been generous dropping of meals etc and many others have asked "how else can we help"? ?
One way to support this wonderful family is to make a koha/donation to this page, to help ease the financial strain, for Ange and Mark.

Update on Ange 20 March 2023
Ange and Mark have asked me to say a HUGE THANK YOU for all of your kind messages and koha. They have read every message and are completely overwhelmed by the generosity of your donations.
As many of you know Ange had her bowel surgery 2 weeks ago, and while the bowel surgery itself went very well, cancer was also found in the liver. This is another hurdle that she will have to get through which will involve Chemo and possible further surgery. It's a longer road ahead than we had hoped for. However, together with her whanau and wonderful friends, we will help her get through this difficult time. She herself, is being incredibly courageous and remaining as positive as she can be.
While Ange may not answer each message, she absolutely loves hearing from you all. It makes such a difference to her, knowing that she has your support and that you are thinking of her.
Kia kaha Ange we love you.
