Dear Friends and Table Tennis Enthusiasts,
We are excited to introduce you to an extraordinary young talent, Anya Chen, a passionate table tennis player who has recently qualified for the prestigious ITTF World Junior Championship to be held in Sweden from November 22-29, 2024. This remarkable achievement marks Anya’s second time representing New Zealand as part of the U15 Girls Team, and we couldn’t be prouder of her dedication and commitment to the sport!
Anya started her table tennis journey at the Tornado Table Tennis Club in North Shore, Auckland, where she quickly distinguished herself as a hardworking and determined player. Balancing her academic responsibilities at Rangitoto College with her training and competitions, Anya has shown exemplary perseverance and skills that have earned her a spot on the national team.
Anya is not just a talented athlete; she embodies the spirit of sportsmanship, teamwork, and resilience. As she looks forward to competing on this international stage, we invite you to be part of her journey.
Competing in the ITTF World Junior Championship is not only a fantastic opportunity for Anya, but it also comes with significant costs. The estimated expenses exceed NZ$6,500, which include travel, accommodations, and other essential expenses.
Every dollar counts! Your financial support will directly impact Anya’s ability to compete at the championship.
With gratitude,
