The Negri's have been volunteering in this school-orphanage in Siem Reap (Cambodia). After COVID-19 they are now in much need of help!

Hi everyone! We - Ambra, Arya, Elettra and Mauro - are having the great opportunity to volunteer at ASPIRE Homestay&Volunteer, an English school and orphanage, located in Siem Reap, Cambodia.
Aspire was founded in 2012 by Mr. Sean Samnang, a local Cambodian, who recognized the urgent need to help the poor and orphaned children living in his country.
Mr Sean was born in 1980 and grew up in a very poor family, working on a farm to pay his secondary school and university. Already in 2006 he started a project, with the initial aim of bringing in children from the surrounding neighbourhood to teach English and Apsara (the traditional Khmer dancing). Thanks to tourists donations and his parents selling some of their land, he managed to help the children of the community.
In 2018, Samnang has had a plan to build a welcoming house for volunteers to stay in. For this, he had to take a substantial loan of $80,000, then COVID arrived. Times were already hard, and now, funds have stopped and less volunteers are coming. The loan continued and, as it stands, it is $1,064 per month for the next ten years. This is just another reason why we depend on the generosity of your donations, and why we encourage you to donate to Aspire, to come to volunteer or to stay in this very welcoming place. Together, we'd love to help ASPIRE cover the costs of their monthly loan and ensure Sean has the stability to continue his invaluable mission without the looming shadow of financial strain. Thank you
