Raising funds to help Aunty Joelle Tinirau on her road to recovery after collapsing and being in a coma for 22 days.
Auckland
Kia Orana & Bonjour
On the 18th February our dear aunty Joelle Tinirau collapsed at her home in Rarotonga, where she was taken to hospital and immediately referred to hospital in Auckland NZ.
Aunty Joelle has been unconscious in hospital for 22 days and praise the Lord, just yesterday, March 12th, she properly opened her eyes for the first time...Stirred awake by the voices of her grandson Teva and her son Yannick who were by her side talking.
Many will know aunty Joelle as the loving and happy go lucky lady, surrounded by her friends and family - always ready to dance and sing along to the ukelele.
Doctors are saying it is still too early to say how long it will take for aunty to fully recover, but she will be here in Auckland for at least another 2-5 months where the proper health facilities are available. We are all praying for her speedy recovery so she can soon be dancing and singing again.
This give a little page has been set up to help relieve any financial pressure on the family as her sons Tamatoa, Tony and Yannick take turns to leave their jobs and family in Rarotonga to be here in NZ to care for their mother as her road to recovery begins. Any donated amount is very much appreciated.
I am Maire Browne - My father and aunty Joelles late husband uncle Arona are first cousins.
This give a little page has been set up to help the family with the financial pressure of being away from their jobs and home (Rarotonga) while aunty Joelle begins her recovery here in NZ.
