Eva Weld takes the Globe stage in London - YSC 2023

After several years in the stage light and many hours navigating the Shakespearean language, I was overwhelmed with excitement to be offered a place in the SGCNZ Young Shakespeare Company of 2023. This is a life-changing trip that will see me perform in London. Representing New Zealand as I take the stage at the prestigious Globe theatre.

It will be an intensive and remarkable three weeks. Attending workshops, performances and touring London, this experience will be truly unforgettable. I’ll work under the guidance of leading professionals immersing myself in the best theatre has to offer.

I’ve thoroughly enjoyed the journey that got me here. This has been an opportunity I have longed for and have worked hard to make happen. However, as great as this achievement is, I cannot make it a reality without support. I’ve been working hard to raise the $10,000 needed, but I would appreciate any help I could get!
