Support for Ake and her four tamariki after 2 heartbreaking losses

Ake, Arama, and their four beautiful tamariki are a deeply loved part of our CrossFit Pāpāmoa whānau, and well respected business owners of Lowkeey Customs.

Earlier this month, on July 2nd, Ake’s beloved mum passed away, a heartbreaking loss for the whānau as they began their journey through grief.

Tragically, on Saturday 26th July, Ake and her four babies also lost their cherished Arama. Devoted partner, loving father, king of their whānau, and the love of Ake’s life.

Now facing life without both her mum and fianće, Ake is carrying an unimaginable weight. As her friends and CrossFit whānau, we want to wrap around her with as much love and support as we can especially in helping ease the financial burden that comes in times like this.

This page has been created by those closest to her, not because she asked for it, but because she never would. Ake is one of the most humble, generous-hearted people we know, and now it’s our turn to awhi and tautoko her and her tamariki.
