Aroha was left fighting for her life in Perth after a severe reaction to prescribed medication. Her family have flown from NZ to be with her
Ranfurly, Otago
Aroha Cromb moved to Perth from NZ earlier this year.
On Monday 3rd July she was hospitalized from a severe reaction to prescribed medication and developed Stevens-Johnson Syndrome which left her fighting for her life, in ICU, in Perth.
On Wednesday, Aroha's parents received a call from the Doctor, letting them know that she was in critical condition and things were not looking good.
Aroha's family flew from NZ the next day to be with her.
On the following Tuesday she was woken up and her breathing tube removed. She has said a few words but is absolutely exhausted.
Aroha will have a long road ahead to recover but she is proving every day how strong-willed and determined she is to beat this.
Good friends with Shar Cromb
Aroha's rent, Flights, Accommodation etc. Funds going to Aroha's mother Shar.

I have also been put in a situation where I’ve had to move out of my home as needing full time care wasn’t suitable for the head tenants lifestyle but I’ve been lucky enough to have people who have opened their home to myself, mum and Emma. So in saying this If anyone knows of any 2 bedroom rental out there in Perth (east Perth area) please pass them on.
As much as I’d love to say I’m coming back nz I can’t as of yet. I’ve been very fortunate in the sense that I have the best specialist for my condition in Perth. My mum Shar has extended her stay multiple times to help me out with day to day things and as well as getting me to and from my appointments.
Thank you again to everyone who has been there to support me but also my family, this is been an experience and a half to say the least and I’m more than ready for this chapter to be over.
