Support Ants & Sheena while Ashen is in ICU in Bali

Sheena and Ants took their Whanau on a trip or a lifetime to Bali for Sheena's 40th; but now they're living every parents worst nightmare. 16 year old Ashen is currently intubated in ICU in Bali with meningitis

Fortunately they do have travel insurance, but insurance will only cover one parent to stay in Bali with Ashen; understandably neither of them are going to leave their son, or each other at this time.

This Whanau are so incredibly selfless and loving, and it's their turn to accept some help to cover the expenses of staying in Bali so that they can just focus on Ashen without the added stress of this financial burden

Use of funds

Funds will go towards travel related and living costs, keeping both Ants & Sheena in Bali and reducing the financial burden of them both staying with him, while also supporting their other children in NZ

A week at home 💕 19 July 2026

Hey everyone! Sorry for the delay in posting an update.

Ashen came home last Friday 🎉🎉🎉 he is still dealing with a few issues as a result of the meningitis and being in a coma, but they’re home ❤️

Sheena and Ants have been off work, and Sheena is now taking leave without pay, so this page is helping her do that!
