The Martin’s 11-month-old son, Ferg, is in ICU in Brisbane after open-heart surgery & a stroke, we’ve created this page to help support them

Otago

The Martin family are going through an incredibly challenging time. Their beautiful 11-month-old baby, Ferg, is currently in ICU in Brisbane after undergoing open-heart surgery and suffering a stroke.

The Martins were in Brisbane on holiday visiting family before Christmas when this unexpected and life-changing situation occurred.

The road to recovery is uncertain, and the emotional and financial burden on the family is immense. They are far from home, juggling medical challenges while navigating the costs of living away from their support network in New Zealand.

We’re starting this Givealittle page to rally around them during this difficult time. Any contribution, no matter how small, will go directly to helping the Martins with travel, accommodation, and day-to-day living costs while they focus on Ferg’s recovery.

Your generosity will give them the support they need to concentrate on what matters most—Ferg’s healing and well-being.

Thank you for standing with the Martins. Every little bit counts, and your kindness means the world to them.
