A few words from Mamma Elecia:
This is a very hard time for us, and right now we’re taking each day as it comes. This has been the most hardest 11 days we have ever experienced in our life time, iv never felt so much pain and heart broken and I will never understand why this happened. but we were forever grateful that we got to spend 5 days with our baby Leo but heaven needed you more and it breaks my heart that we won’t be able to hold you in our arms once more, but no matter what you will always have a place in our heart ❤️ you were a fighter Leo the Lion and we love you so so much! RIP my baby boy, Mummy misses you xoxox
Leo Ray McFarlane was born on 13 June 2018 at 1.14pm with a Rare Vascular Tumour at Auckland Central Hospital. Until a biopsy can be performed on the tumour the medical team are of the opinion that the type of tumour is known as KHE. As a result of the tumour, Leo has hydrops and an enlarged heart. Leo is in a stable but serious condition.
Doing this to support my best friend and her beautiful baby boy.
Any funds will go towards supporting the family with living/travel cost while baby in in hospital.
Update 19 June 2018
Unfortunately overnight baby Leo has passed on while in the comfort of this mum and dad. Rest easy baby Leo lion 🦁💔❤️
