Support for Brandon, Rachel & Isabelle
Balclutha, Otago
As some of you will know, Brandon and Rachel have been battling away with ongoing chemo treatments for Brandon’s cancer for the past 4 months, this means it has been a very challenging time travelling to and from Dunedin whilst taking care of wee Izzy and trying to maintain enough income to support the family!
I know this town is full of support and kindness for those that are struggling, and seeing first hand the battles and challenges Brandon and Rachel have been facing, I can see they could use as much help as they can get!
I know that updates haven’t been regularly posted about and generally you only find out how Brandon’s treatment is going by direct contact with them, however, it has been a very rough ride and the past two weeks have been very scary for the whole family!
By making this page I hope that our awesome little community can help support these three wonderful people through the tough ongoing challenges they still face!!

An attempt to combat the ongoing financial stresses of providing for the family, keeping the lights on, putting food on the table, travel costs, paying bills.
Update 2/2/23 2 February 2023
Someone pop the champagne!!!
Fabulous news received yesterday from Brandon’s PET scan he received on the 31st Jan, the scan shows that the tumour in his chest has shrunk from 15cm to the size of a fingernail which is absolutely fucking amazing! #gochemo
There were 3 options available but Brandon & Rachel went with a couple of rounds of radiation to eliminate it completely!
Super stoked with the outcome this far though, we are nearly there!!!
Once again a massive thank you is in order for all those who showed support ranging from a simple message expressing gratitude, to all those that donated to this page!
The support is phenomenal and it truely has come as a shock!
With a bit of luck, the final update should result in complete termination of cancerous cells present - we are nearly there and could only dream of a result like this!
WOOO!!!!!
