Support for Bronson and the Ford family

    Thank you to everyone that has supported and is supporting us we are forever grateful 🙏. Today we had a day of scans we are still waiting for an appointment with the specialist but Bronson did a few extra scans to send to the neurologist and I think maybe for genetic testing? Not entirely sure but it's on the cards to get done to see if he qualifies for this Von Hipple syndrome. He has been going back to school for full days and doing well with recovery he is still waiting to be cleared for any sort of physical activity he is missing that and he is eating a bit more now too. It's still up and down but he is improving 😀

  • Recovery

    So far his recovery is up and down he is healing nicely with no complications around the surgery site, but is having a few other issues so will be attending more doctors appointments this week. We have an update from the surgeon who is going to test him for Von Hippel­Lindau syndrome so more scans and tests will be coming up. I'm hoping he will manage some full days at school next term but will make a plan with the drs this week. Thank you all for still supporting us we really appreciate it

    Morning guys, thank you so much for all the love and support from everyone. I would like to let you all know we had some results back and his tumor was not cancerous!!!! Yay that is such a huge relief, but he still has a way to go in his recovery and his fight is not over just yet. Unfortunately what they found was not what they were expecting in a boy his age. His MRI has shown possibly another one in his body and he will need to do more tests and scans coming up. He may have a random condition which the name is way to long to remember and he may get more throughout his life.

    Right now he is recovering well his scar is healing real nice his hair is growing, he is back to eating and has more colour in his face. His balance had improved and his coordination is getting better each day.
