This fundraiser is for those wanting to acknowledge and support the many years of volunteer work Cynthia Hancox has given the Home Education Community in New Zealand.

Though Cynthia finished home educating her own 5 children around 11 years ago, since then she has tirelessly advocated for, supported, encouraged and shared her extensive knowledge with NZ home schoolers. She has volunteered her time serving on the NCHENZ Committee as Government Liaison and continues to support families with exemption enquiries or difficulties.

With the upcoming potential change in legislation for NZ home educators, Cynthia continues to spend many many hours trying to ensure the best outcome for our community.

Use of funds

Funds will be deposited into Cynthia’s bank account and will be used for living costs and costs incurred in her role as Home Education Advisor.
