Ten months ago my Aunt Debbie got married to her husband Jordan. They found each other later in life than most and are very happy together. Myself and family members were thrilled for Aunty Debbie as for the past 20 plus years, our family has watched her struggle with a condition called Chronic Fatigue. This is characterised as fatigue/ tiredness persisting every day, like a battery that will only charge to 30%.
Two weeks before Christmas, Aunty Debbie was diagnosed with stage 2 breast cancer. This was a huge shock, both to her, Jordan, and the family. However, she has been courageous in her new journey with cancer, as she hasn’t had much medical support over the summer break. She will fight the cancer through traditional and holistic treatments, quality supplements and healthy foods.
In her journey with Chronic Fatigue, Aunt Debbie has been courageous, positive and gutsy, and I know that she will apply these same qualities to this cancer journey that she has just now begun on.
Aunty Debbie is a kind, positive and loving person, which we have seen over the past 18 years when she has visited us her nieces and nephews, spending quality time with us and having fun together. We have fond memories of these special times with her.
As both Aunt Debbie and Uncle Jordan are not the kind of people to ask for financial assistance, we as their family, are asking on their behalf. So we would be grateful and thankful for any support that people could give in her fight, in order to help her on this new journey.
For everyone that knows my Aunt Debbie, they know that she loves and cares about everyone. This is why I am, on behalf on her and my family, raising money for my Aunt's journey and fight against Cancer.
These funds will help her on her journey fighting against cancer, by supplying the means of a healthy food, quality supplements, and for the treatment that she needs and chooses.
