Support for gorgeous wee Harper and her whānau

7 month old Harper Rate is the light of her families lives. The youngest of 5 children, Harper is absolutely adored by her family, friends and the small Geraldine community where she lives 💕

In the space of a week, Harper and her family went from enjoying the school holidays and being a 'normal' kiwi family, to an unimaginably heartbreaking reality.

It was discovered that baby Harper has a large mass on her kidney. Harper, Mum Kylie and Dad Mike were moved up to Christchurch Hospital where they found the mass was cancer, and has spread to Harper's liver and chest.

This page has been set up with permission from Kylie and Mike, to try and relieve some of the financial stress while they come to terms with their situation, spend as much time with Harper as possible and deal with the costs of being away from home and off work for however long they need to be.
