Support For Greg and Family

Unfortunately, earlier this week Greg's condition took a turn for the worse. At 8.39pm on Saturday 5th December 2020, Greg left this earth, surrounded by his loving family.

Our hero then went on to have organ donation surgery, and has given parts of himself to save a number of other lives. Although we cannot have him with us, he will live on in these people through the immeasurable gift he has passed on.

Our family can not express enough the gratitude we have for the incredible love and support for Greg we have received throughout these past two weeks. And, the messages of hope and encouragement that were read to him at his bedside. Greg was so loved, and we are so thankful.

    Thank you all ❤️

On behalf of the sutherland family we would like to thank you for your outpouring of love and support for Greg in his recovery. It has been overwhelming and the messages and well wishes are being read and cherished.

We would just like to ask at this time that visiting be limited to family only for the next few days as we acknowledge that Greg needs to rest. Please no unannounced visitors to the hospital. Thank you for your understanding and if you would like to see Greg when the time is right please be in touch with Casey.

    Thanks

    Astrid

Hi . My name is Rebecca Booth Nee Dodgshun my sister is Arwen. We both were praying and hoping that Greg Sutherland is doing ok. The Sutherland brothers always looked after us as part of the Leeston new life church centre youth group...when I look back those memories, to my sister and I, were some of the best time in our lifetime. No responsibility( like it is now with children etc) those you men had total responsibility of take all of us, as kids all the way into Christchurch to Ice skating, mac d's, pizza hut, etc etc. The help your family gave to my late brother Jonathan wards was amazing. I don't have the life span to repay all you have given to our family. We pass this on to our children and we have your brothers to thank for that.
