Help support Greta and her family during this extremely difficult time
Auckland
In 2020, Greta was diagnosed with breast cancer. Greta started chemotherapy which she endured for a year. In addition to this, she underwent multiple surgeries from 2020-2021, including a bilateral mastectomy and a bilateral oophorectomy. Despite the unrelenting fatigue, pain and symptoms associated with her treatment and recovery from surgeries, Greta continues to dedicate her life to caring for her family, friends and colleagues; always with a smile. Throughout her treatment, she has continued working and teaching gym classes.
This month, Greta has been given devastating news; the cancer has returned in her lungs and rib. She will focus on recommencing treatment; this time with uncertainty surrounding her prognosis. Greta is a generous, loving, and loyal friend to many; all of whom admire her resilient, authentic, and phenomenally positive outlook on life. Greta and Mark dedicate their lives to teaching their students with compassion and care. They are selfless, devoted parents to Olivia and Matthew, nurturing and investing their time and love into the extracurricular activities and sports that their children are involved in.
Greta and Mark always put others first and now they need our help during this unimaginable time. They face the overwhelming reality of self-funding expensive unfunded medication; pembrolizumab (Keytruda). One way to support this beautiful family is to alleviate the financial burden. Your generosity is hugely appreciated.

Primarily these funds will be used to pay for the unfunded medication, pembrolizumab. Additional funds will be used to support their family financially during this difficult time.
