Ella, Jack and Imogen Collins lost their beautiful 2 1/2 year-old daughter Ivy, their home and all possessions. Please help us help them.
Eskdale, Hawke's Bay
You may have read about the tragic loss of a beautiful little 2 1/2 year-old girl, Ivy, in the Esk Valley floods due to Cyclone Gabrielle. The waters came up rapidly and Ivy’s mum Ella who is pregnant, big sister, Imogen, and dad, Jack, had to evacuate leaving everything behind. In the trauma our precious, sweet Ivy drowned to the torrential and fast-moving flood waters.
I ask for the community to please join us and be the strength that wraps around Ella, Imogen and Jack to support them through this traumatic time as we farewell our sweet Angel.
Please let’s raise money to help support them into a new home and give Imogen what she needs to thrive as a vibrant and vivacious little girl. Anything you can donate - no matter how small - will help them to rebuild their lives and give 4-year-old Imogen the future she deserves without her little sister and her best friend by her side.
Ella, Imogen and Jack have no home, so as much as we’d love to accept donated household goods, we are unable to receive them right now.
They are the most generous, caring, selfless people! And we need to show them that their community is with them. Please help us to help them to create a safe space for Imogen and their unborn, as they heal together as a whānau.
Arohanui and Kia Kaha to everyone who hears this call ❤️❤️❤️
Rest in Peace Ivy - we love you so much 🕊️
Disclosure; They have house insurance, but this really won’t touch the re-build they have ahead. Every penny counts. Thank you 🙏
