Support for Laura's legal defence

  • Victorious thanks to you!

I want to express my most heartfelt gratitude to all who supported my fundraiser. Thanks to your generosity, I was able to pay the retainer for lawer Tudor Clee and win in court! At mytrial, the judge struck out the case due to police prosecutor misconduct.

The remainder of my legal fees to cover the cost of trial was hanging over me. Fortunately, Tudor held a trial for compensation of legal costs, and again, we won! Here is a 1news article which explains how he did it:

Thanks to you all, we are on the highway to victory and justice.

More updates to follow as we continue holding our public servants accountable.

    With all my love,

    Thank you

    Laura

    Dear donor,

As a result of your generosity in donating to Laura's Give-a-Little fund-raiser to help pay for her legal fees, we have raised over $6,000. Give-a-Little sent through a partial pay in late February and that money went to her lawyers (previous and current).

I have spoken with Laura and she is humbled and gracious for the support that she has received. Her court case will be heard at the end of March, when all of the protest charges from February 2022 will be dealt with in the final week of the month, not just for Laura but for everyone who has been charged. The system wants them completely dealt with and out of the way.

A month ago, we received a message from a good freedom fighter who was up for assault against a police officer but was informed by his lawyer that the police have dropped the charges. That's cause for celebration and hope. The charges he was facing were entirely trumped up when it was the police who attacked him first one night in February last year. We're glad they saw sense.

Laura is ready to defend her actions and we will keep you all updated via the Telegram freedom channels, social media, and various freedom websites. One way or another, you will hear about the results.

    Thanks again,

    Glenn

  • Thank you everyone, just need a little push

    Hi everyone,

Thank you all for donating to Laura's legal fund. We have only two more days left on this fundraiser. Laura is very grateful for your support. We have $1500 to go to reach our goal. Please pass on the page link to others. We understand that people's generosity is being stretched at the moment with Hawkes Bay and other demands. Whatever you can provide will be great.

    Cheers!

Thank you to everyone who has donated to Laura's defence fund. We had a good video call with Tudor Clee, Laura's barrister, this week and he's well prepped. There is a brief appearance in court today, procedural matters, and we will keep you informed on developments. Please share the donate link. Cheers.

Hey guys! What charges exactly is Laura facing?

    • 09/02/2023 by Glenn Inwood

One charge of wilful trespass. While only a minor charge, it is unfortunately a considerable cost to defend.
