Father of 5, Luka Jackson-Gibb was seriously assaulted and sustained serious head injuries. His life will never be the same.

On the weekend I visited a good friend of ours, father of 5 young children and Husband Luka Jackson-Gibb. Many of you may have seen his piece on Tagata Pasifika several weeks ago, the tragic events that unfolded that left him clinging on to life. Simply put he was violently assaulted in front of his children and King Hit from behind, at Rugby League training. As a result he sustained life threatening head injuries that has negatively impacted him and his families livelihoods – he will never be able to enjoy life as it once was, ever again.

About us

B.H.C. Charitable Trust is a Youth Service focused on building Leaders for tomorrow. With permission from the Family we will administer and promote this page to get them as much support as we can.

Use of funds

As Luka was the primary bread winner all proceeds will go to ensuring his family is sufficiently cared for as he takes his rehabiliation journey. Money will be allocated to daily household bills, school exspenses, and extracurricular cost for the children.

On Behalf of Luka and Gene we would like to send a massive thank you to everyone for their massive support. Luka is a good friend of ours and it was only right that we promote and administer this Givealittle Page so they can get a little bit of support during this time. They were humble and intially didnt want to make a fuss but I'm glad we could all come together and show them that they are more then worthy and loved by many. I will provide an update from them once the funds have been cleared and they receive their donation. Thanks fams!
