Please help support Noah and his family, while he battles cancer for the second time after being in remission for over a year.
Dunedin, Otago
We are reaching out to ask for donations for a very special young boy, Noah.
Noah is an active, energetic young man who has recently received the heartbreaking news that his cancer has returned. Noah was in remission for over a year after facing treatment with incredible bravery, he and his family are now preparing for another challenging journey.
His family are hardworking, devoted parents who will now be balancing hospital visits, treatment, and time away from work so they can be by his side every step of the way. As you can imagine, this creates significant emotional and financial pressure during an already overwhelming time.

Money will go towards helping relieve financial stresses for Noahs family and to help with traveling costs between Dunedin and Christchurch
Update from the Dobiers x 23 May 2026
We are blown away and incredibly grateful for all of the support that we have been given since we found out our Noahs cancer had returned. It has carried us through a most devastating time where sometimes we didn’t know how we would make it through even the next hour. To have felt that love has made such a difference to our family and has allowed us to be together to support Noah!
Up next for Noah is a Bone Marrow Transplant, he has already undergone 3, 28 day rounds of chemotherapy. He relapsed in his spinal fluid and bone marrow and the cancer cells have moved up into a significant amount of his bones so is now classified as Lymphoblastic lymphoma/leukaemia. As this is a bit more unusual and he didn’t reach remission after the first month as the oncologists would have liked, they have decided a Bone Marrow Transplant would be best for him. He will go up to Starship in Auckland in around 4-6 weeks. We are very fortunate that both his siblings are full matches so having a sibling match will hopefully increase the chance of a more successful transplant with less amount of complications. He has a massive journey ahead with high dose chemo and full body radiation with extra bursts on his cranium to get him ready for transplant. Please keep him in your thoughts and prayers as he fights this with everything he has. We are beyond grateful and could never really express how much of a difference you have all made in our lives. Love the Dobiers x
