Support for New Zealand's military heritage

Waikato

Last year’s Armistice in Cambridge event at Karapiro brought our military history to life, honouring the deed and sacrifices of our military. It was a day of remembrance, education, and community. However, despite the incredible turnout and support, the event ran at a financial loss.

We’re reaching out to our supporters – history enthusiasts, families whose kids had fun and won a medal, and anyone who values the preservation of our proud past, to help us recover $5,000 and ensure the future of Armistice in Cambridge. Your contribution will allow us to cover last year’s shortfall and lay the foundation for an even better event this year.

Every donation, no matter the size, makes a difference. Together, we can ensure that Armistice in Cambridge continues to honour our past and inspire future generations. Thank you for your support!

2% Effective Fee
On average, fundraisers pay just 2% to use Givealittle. This is one of the lowest effective fees in New Zealand fundraising. We charge a 5% platform fee to cover the cost of running the platform. Because most donors choose to top up their donation to cover this fee, the effective cost paid by fundraisers is about 2%. That means around 98 cents of every dollar raised goes to the cause.
