Supporting during a difficult and unexpected time
Auckland
As you are aware, Dad has recently had surgery to remove a brain tumour. He is doing well.
Due to the current Covid situation, Dad is not allowed to have visitors, so Patsy is his sole visitor and physically-present support person. She is travelling every day from Orewa to Auckland Hospital to be with him.
Around these times, people may be keen to send a gift, like flowers or gift baskets. We have set up this page instead, so that any support you might have been planning is able to be donated here, and then to go towards transport costs, and food services once Dad is home.
Any amount you are able to give will help immensely.
Dad and Patsy said they feel more comfortable being the ones giving than receiving, so are humbled by any support you may give.
At this time, we would like to keep this page amongst Dad & Patsy's family, so would appreciate if it isn't share publicy. Thank you for your understanding.
Love, Andrea, Emma and Ilyse

Rehabilitated and home! 31 March 2022
Dad has rehabilitated well after surgery and is home now. He exceeded all expectations with his recovery, and impressed all the doctors and nurses.
Next week Dad will have an appointment to discuss his future treatment plan.
