Life has dealt P.K a rough hand, now its time to join forces and support the man who has been there for us all.
Canterbury
Paul who is 46 years young, had been suffering headaches for a while and had finally put his stubbornness behind him and had gone to see the Doc who had booked him in for scans in a few weeks. He was unable to continue building during this time.
While at home on the 20th August Paul (P.K) was dealt a rough hand and was flown to Christchurch Hospital. After emergency brain scans they discovered P.K had a 6cm brain tumour. Paul had surgery on Friday 24th August to remove what they could.
This has been a very worrying and stressful time for Jackie, Matai, Asra and Indie plus all their whanau and friends.
Although we don't know what the future holds yet, what we do know is that the recovery time is going to be long and strenuous.
This page has been set up for those wanting to support Paul (P.K), Jackie, Asra, Matai and Indie but are unsure how. The money raised will be used to relieve the pressure from Paul's whanau so both healing and recovery can be done without financial stress. It will be used to help with expenses the family are incurring while Jackie is away from work to support P.K. As you know, the Kamo/Stanley whanau are not ones to ask for help but have acknowledged that this might be one of those times where they need to let their friends and family help them out. The Kamo/Stanleys would like me to point out that any money not needed will be donated to the Westpac Rescue Helicopter.
I am a family friend of the Kamo/Stanley whanau and have set this page up to help them relieve financial stress so they can heal as a family together.
