Chloe is a beautiful smiley 5 year old girl who has just been diagnosed with a very rare type of cancer called Undifferentiated Embryonal Sarcoma of the Liver (UESL). She is at Starship hospital where she has had surgery to remove the mass and 60 percent of her liver. She has just started her first round of Chemotherapy and this will continue for at least the next next 6 months.

Maree and Andrew are appreciative of all the support that has already been shown in the short time since they were hit by this awful news. Setting up this page is to allow those people who would like to contribute financially to the Larsen family to support them through this difficult journey

Use of funds

This Temuka family will be traveling to Chch & back constantly once they leave Starship. Household bills pile up when parents aren't working. Chloe will need 24hour care which makes it tough financially for the family. Funds received will help towards this

On May 18th 2020 Chloe had her end of treatment meeting and got to ring the bell. She is in remission , due to the nature of her cancer (UESL) she will be tested and scanned very regularly into adulthood. We are so relieved we got through this horrible time and having the support of this page and our community was so overwhelming and very appreciated. Last week Chloe turned 6 and had her port removed two days later. Please keep Chloe in your prayers as we need this cancer to stay away. Thanks again to everyone who donated.
