Support for Sandy & Don with the passing of Corrie

Our long time film industry colleague Sandy May's beautiful boy Corrie passed away on Saturday 19th October at home. His passing was unexpected, and naturally Sandy and Don are completely stricken with grief at this dreadful time.

Aside from the loss of Corrie. Sandy is currently in the middle of chemotherapy treatment for breast cancer.

We as a group of friends and peers of both parents and Corrie wish to ease the huge financial burden that Sandy and Don are facing at this time, and would like to raise funds to help pay for funeral costs and for Sandy and Don to take some time to continue through Sandy’s treatment and recovery.

Dear friends, family, and generous supporters,

We want to extend our heartfelt thanks to each of you who have shown kindness and compassion. In those first few weeks after losing our son, and while Sandy faces her health struggles, it really did help us to know that people cared. Your support has truly been a light in our darkest days, and our shattered hearts have been filled with your love.

Your generosity has not only helped ease the practical burdens but has reminded us of the strength that comes from the kindness of others. Each message, every donation, and all the support we’ve received mean more than words can express.

hey corrie, we didn’t keep in touch after you left high school, but you were such an inspiration to me. i was the pantomime dame after you. you left such big shoes to fill. i can only hope i did a good enough job. rest in peace, dude.
