Support for Sera-Jae and her 2 boys

Sera -Jae is a 49 yr old solo mother fighting for her life in Auckland Hospital ICU Cardiac Thoracic Unit. Sera is in critical condition in an induced coma, on life support following post-op complications from bowel surgery and has severe sepsis. Complications arose after surgery when she complained of being in a lot of pain. She was taken for a CT scan which showed a hole in her bowel and fluid leaking into her abdomen. They rushed her into surgery, but she went into cardiac arrest. Sera is an incredible loving mum to her two boys, Noah, 13, and Nayte, 11. They are devastated, along with her family. Sera’s family lives in Dargaville, Northland, a long way from Auckland Hospital. If Sera pulls through, she may be in the hospital for months.
