No child should have to feel what this boy felt.

Auckland

Hello kind people.

I'm setting up this page on behalf of a awesome young man. Shawn is now living here with us. His Mother and I along with his three sisters (one with four legs & fur) and his brother who also has four legs and fur 😁

Shawn's slowly starting to realize that he can talk to us and we will listen. His input and thoughts matter to us. When Shawn came to live with us he came with nothing bar the clothes on his back. Shawn left behind everything. His school, His mates...His prized gaming PC he spent years saving for. I'm proud of him for doing what he did.

A fresh start means... exactly that.

And so our little team of seven continues to move forward, day by day...doing the best we can. With only two very small incomes been projected into our house Shawn's new start would greatly appreciate your contribution and will be received with humbling gratitude and upmost thankfulness.

Use of funds

Contributions made will go towards the essentials. Shawn's education/schooling and clothing. I would like to at some stage replace his gaming PC he had saved years for, any surplus funds will go toward this and his rugby fees/boots

2% Effective Fee
On average, fundraisers pay just 2% to use Givealittle. This is one of the lowest effective fees in New Zealand fundraising. We charge a 5% platform fee to cover the cost of running the platform. Because most donors choose to top up their donation to cover this fee, the effective cost paid by fundraisers is about 2%. That means around 98 cents of every dollar raised goes to the cause.
