It is with profound sorrow that we share the unexpected passing of Shibu Andrews(49), a much-loved and active member of the Hamilton community, who passed away suddenly this morning(29/01/26).

Shibu was a devoted family man and a valued part of our community. He leaves behind his wife and two young children, whose lives have been forever changed by this tragic loss. His kindness, generosity, and willingness to support others will always be remembered by those who had the privilege of knowing him.

During this incredibly difficult time, the family hopes to repatriate Shibu’s body to India, so he can be laid to rest at home among his loved ones, in accordance with cultural and religious traditions. The sudden nature of this loss has also brought significant and unexpected financial challenges.
