Thank you for all your support, donations, positivity and for keeping Dad in your thoughts and prayers. He continues to battle on and keep up the amazing fight no matter the challenges.

Dad’s been on the new immunotherapy drug for about four weeks now and although the side effects are some of the worst he is holding on for dear hope. In about ten days he is due a CT scan which we are hopeful will bring some more positive news and the drug might be doing something to fight this dreadful cancer. Right now he’s stuck in hospital waiting on an urgent MRI to find some answers for his current state. Dad’s third hospital stay in a couple of weeks - We will keep you posted 🙏

Thanks again for those who have donated to take some pressure off Mum and Dad. His current drugs are $6.5k a month or $8k if not bought in bulk.

Let’s see what this month brings ❤️

Go Dad; you’re an inspiration to many. You have given so much in kindness and love over the years and it’s time we and the universe looked after you.

We still kindly request that you check before visiting, you’re not sick and visits are short.

    Thanks again,

    The Eaton family :) x

As many of you will know Dad is still battling this horrendous cancer prognosis that ripped through his life just one year ago. What started with stage four lung cancer (and lymph nodes) but has since travelled to many parts of his spine, hips, blood and multiple brain tumours. He has recovered from brain surgery like an absolute trooper and shocked the surgeon by coming out of recovery with a big smile on his face. Recently he is dealing with the effects of his first blast of radiation, severe back pain (managed daily by slow release oral morphine) and the crippling news of no more chemotherapy or immunotherapy. Latest CT results were not in his favour with another brain tumour found, further lesions on the spine and the lung. Unfortunately no funded drugs are strong or good enough for Dad at this stage but he is not giving up and wants to give this his all. There is a drug (unfunded $6.5-8k a month) that his surgeon is very confident will give Dad more time and we hope to get him to a point he will be able to switch to a funded medication. But for now if there is any way you are in a position you can help our family we would be extremely grateful.

Thank you for those that visit Dad and phone/send messages. Many days he is deep in his own thoughts at the reality of being ripped off with being due for retirement any day now and multiple holidays/a world cruise cancelled and as Dad would say all the bucket list stuff!

Thank you, we’re all the reason Dad doesn’t give up.

Currently sitting with Dad during his 3rd round of chemo. He is full of smiles and banter and ready to tackle this! It crossed his mind that he has had no idea who has donated as he didn’t even know the page was being set up. Many of you have probably visited dad, dropped off meals and provided so much support and he said he is sorry he hasn’t thanked you personally. We appreciate you and this support goes a long way during this time 😘
