Support for the Hall fāmili after Phil’s passing
This page has been created to support Phil Hall’s wife Sue and the Hall fāmili with funeral expenses and future living costs.

On Sunday, our dear friend and community leader Phil Hall passed away. Phil was the rock of his fāmili and their sole provider.
He was also a tireless servant to his community as President and Life Member of Eden Rugby Club, where he spent decades as a player, coach/manager, committee leader and, most recently, club president.
Phil built Hall Electrical in Auckland from the ground up and was known for his workmanship, straight-up honesty, and care for people.
He leaves behind a proud legacy in the trades and a club community that will miss him dearly.
Above all, Phil was a devoted husband to Sue, a loving dad to Amy, Sophie, Johnny and Christopher, and a proud grandfather.
He was not only a father to his own children, but a surrogate father and mentor to many more who were lucky enough to know him.

Use of funds
This page has been set up to help Sue, the children, and the wider fāmili with immediate funeral costs and ongoing living expenses as they navigate life without Phil.

Service Details 9 September 2025
Phil's service will be held Friday 12th September at 3:15pm, Good Shepherd Church - Telford Avenue, Balmoral.
The service will be followed by the after function at: Eden Rugby Club, Gribblehirst Park, in Sandringham.
