Gav is now in Italy with his Samoan athletes Tuva'a and Samalulu. They have a few days training there alongside some of the New Zealand team and then head to PAris Tomorrow night (Thursday 25th July) for the Opening Ceremony on the Friday 26th July - our Saturday 27th.
For viewing the Olympic Games live you need to have a Sky Sport Now subscription they have an Olympic Games special package available.

HI everyone
You are invited to come along and enjoy a little farewell function this Friday 23rd June at the North Shore Canoe Club at 6pm. It's a bring and share dinner - we would love to see you there if you would like to say a Goodluck to myself, Tuva'a and Samalulu before we head off overseas!
Time had flown by thee past few weeks! I have been to two training camps over the past week and looking forward to our little farewell this Friday evening at North Shore Canoe Club along with a little lunchtime fundraiser at St Stephens Church Stanmore Bay this weekend so its all GO at the moment.

ABOUT US
We are Tuva’a and Samalulu Clifton, siblings representing Samoa in the Men's K1 1000m and Women's K1 500m canoe sprint. We live and train in Auckland at North Shore Canoe Club , on the beautiful waters of Lake Pupuke. We are both immensely proud to be representing Samoa, the birthplace of our maternal grandmother.
Our Coach
Gavin Elmiger, Head Coach of North Shore Canoe Club & Team Kayak Canoe Samoa, has been coaching us for over a decade. He has been a huge force in our development as athletes and people. We are thrilled to have Gavin join Team Kayak Canoe Samoa to oversee our Olympic campaign and the racing happening in Paris between August 6th to August 10th.
