Help Ishaan to to sponsor Aliya to give her the same chance at education and life as he has in New Zealand.
Bay of Plenty
My nine year old son Ishaan is a student at Lynmore Primary School and came up with a desire to help underprivileged kids overseas to give them a chance at good quality education in their home country. His logic was that New Zealanders are very generous and not only adults but kids also can help under privileged kids overseas to give them the same chance at education as they have in New Zealand. While this is an ambitious plan and knowing that we cannot help everyone, I felt proud that he is thinking of helping underprivileged kids I should support his initiative.
I created a page on my son Ishaan's behalf to sponsor a student he identified in Indonesia. Her name is Aliya and she is 11 years old and a brilliant student living in a small village in West java, Indonesia. She is ready to go to secondary school but unfortunate circumstances in her family meant her single mother cannot afford to get her to a good school with two mortgages on her house and small income that can hardly meet bare necessities of life. Ishaan wants to help her and need your help to ensure Aliya continues her education. This initiative will not only help Aliya but also help Ishaan to fulfill his dream of helping other kids, inspire him and other kiwi kids to help others and validate the helping culture and generosity of New Zealanders.
Ishaan's initiative is intended to inspire young New Zealanders to appreciate the good quality of life and education they have and to think about helping underprivileged kids for raising their standard of education and quality of life that educational opportunities will bring to them in future.
I urge all New Zealanders to express their generosity for a good cause and will pay to cover for the shortfall of funds raised from this forum to fund Aliyas education for the next 3 years.
Facilitating my 9 year old son Ishaan to help Aliya
The funds will pay for fees, books and ongoing secondary education costs for Aliya for 3 years. Payment receipts to school and regular progress and receipts will be shared by Aliya and Ishaan on this page with a big smile and thanks to all.
Thanks for your support. Aliya's school registration fee had been paid 10 May 2019
Aliya's school registration fee of ca. 850 dollars had been paid (I paid for the shortfall). The final admission fee is due in June. So will continue to run the page till then so that we get closer to the target and are able to pay for her entire education.
