Help Jacob and his family through a tough time as they face his illness and the temporary closure of their business Danish Delicacy Catering

Auckland

Jacob Thuesen, a beloved friend and President of the New Zealand Danish Society, has been hospitalised for over three weeks due to a severe infection affecting his pancreas and lungs. His recovery journey will be long, and during this time, Jacob and his wife Briahna have had to close their family business, Danish Delicacy Catering, leading to a significant loss of income.

Jacob and Briahna have always been the first to lend a hand, offering warmth and hospitality to everyone they meet. They’ve welcomed countless people into their family, home, and the Danish Society in Auckland, creating memorable connections through friendships and their passion for the Danish Society and food.

Now, Jacob, Briahna, and their three boys need our support. The funds raised will help the family manage living expenses, bills, rent and ensure that Jacob can focus fully on his recovery without the added stress of financial hardship.

Any amount, big or small, will make a difference in their lives. Let us come together to give back to a family that has always been there for others in their time of need.

We understand that many of you will want to reach out to offer support to Jacob and Bree, however it is requested that contact be made after Jacob has returned home from hospital.

Thank you for your support and caring during this difficult time.

We are members and friends of Jacob and Briahna in the Danish Society, wanting to support them and their three boys through this tough period of illness and recovery.

Use of funds

The funds will be used to cover Jacob's expenses, bills, rent, and general living costs for the family while their business is closed. If the goal is not met, the money will still go toward easing the financial burden during this difficult time.
