Janna is a nurse in the Medical Ward,Wellington hospital. She has cared for the weak and the fragile. Now this time, she needs your support.

Wellington

My purpose for this page is to take the weight of finances off her as much as I can.

These past few days, Janna has been through a lot. Janna was diagnosed with Hodgkin's Lymphoma. The initial plan of treatment would be 6 months of chemotherapy. Every 2 weeks, she will have to undergo chemotherapy. She has a long-term PICC line that was inserted for her treatment. Just recently, she was hospitalized for 1 week because of having rashes/blisters around her PICC line site. We are hopeful that this is not a sign of infection. She is currently feeling weak at the moment.

Her battle against Hodgkin's is still ongoing. Every after chemotherapy, she manifests having dizziness, stomach upset and nausea. She is expected to have low immunity since she would be continually having chemo. With that being said, she needs to stay away from illnesses or other factors that can affect her health and immunity. This is Janna's fight for survival.

Janna had to leave work indefinitely, leaving her with no income for the duration of the treatment. Miko, her partner, would be fending for the two of them. She never knew that she would have this kind of illness. She was never prepared for this. It became very hard for the couple to accept this since they were just recently married.

We are really praying that the initial plan for her would be successful. We are very hopeful that she would survive this course of treatment. This is one of the major challenges in life for the couple. They are having difficulty not just emotionally and spiritually, but also financially. Now, we are knocking on your kind hearts and immeasurable generosity to help them sustain the costs. Any amount will make a difference.

Please support Janna in her fight for survival! Please extend a helping hand for her to face this big challenge and be one step ahead.  We sincerely appreciate your kindness and generosity. Thank you very much!

I am one ofJanna's support persons and a friend who cares. We are very saddened by the news that Janna has Hodgkin's Lymphoma and needed to have chemotherapy. I wanted to be with her in her battle against cancer and help her in the best way that I can.
