Support Julie, our amazing local midwife!
Tauranga, Bay Of Plenty
Julie is an incredible midwife who has had to drop everything to be at her son’s bedside in Wellington.
Midwifery; when you don’t work, you don’t get paid.
Julie’s son was in a car accident which has left him in a critical condition in Wellington Hospital. The prognosis is currently unknown.
We would like to support Julie best we can so life at home can continue as normal and take the pressure off her retuning to work.
Julie is an amazing colleague and friend.
Money will be for Julie to spend on daily life, so home life can continue to tick over whist she is at her son’s bedside.
An update from the Dovaston’s 6 April 2025
Firstly a huge thank you to everyone for their love, support, well wishes and donations.
Nevaeh has survived through the critical phase. He has server damage to his brain, but no impact to the brain stem so he is now breathing on his own with help of a Tracheostomy. There is no way for them to be able to know how well Nevaeh will heal and recover and what his abilities will be. As long as he keeps progressing forward from this point it will be a long process of months into years. So please keep up the prayers and sending him healing light.
