  • 💛 A Big Milestone for Emmett – and a Warm Homecoming

Today marks a very big day for Emmett — he has completed the first phase of intensive treatment for his leukaemia. This morning, he underwent a lumbar puncture and bone marrow aspiration from his hip. Once he had recovered, Emmett and his parents were finally able to return home after more than a month away.

Thanks to the incredible generosity and support from so many of you, the bathroom renovation was completed this morning — just in time for Emmett’s arrival. We are deeply grateful to everyone who helped make this happen, from the donors to the kind and hardworking hands who brought it all together so quickly. It has made a real and immediate difference to Emmett’s safety and comfort.

There’s still more to do in the home, and we’ll continue working on those improvements as funds allow.

We also want to take a moment to acknowledge Emmett’s big brother, August, who has been beside him throughout this journey. His quiet strength, love, and support for Emmett have been remarkable, and the bond between them has only grown stronger through these long days.

Today’s test results will help determine the next phase of Emmett’s treatment. For now, we are simply grateful to have both boys back under one roof, safe, supported, and surrounded by love.

We’ve shared a little collage of Emmett and August to mark this moment and to thank every one of you for helping carry them through. 💛

    💛 Emmett’s Update – A Little Progress and a Lot of Courage

We wanted to share a little update and thank you all again for your incredible support.

Thanks to your generosity, we’ve been able to start the bathroom renovations to create a safer environment for Emmett at home — an important step we couldn’t have taken without your help.

Emmett continues with his treatments, which are often frightening and leave him feeling very unwell. Despite everything, he shows such bravery and pride in his growing string of beads — each one representing a procedure or challenge he’s faced. It’s a powerful symbol of just how strong our little boy is.

Life is very busy and stressful as we try to keep two young boys safe and entertained, while carefully avoiding crowded and enclosed spaces to protect Emmett’s fragile immune system.

Thank you again for being part of Emmett’s journey. Your kindness makes a real difference every single day. 💛
