ISA World Juniors have kicked off!

🇳🇿The NZ team have settled into Rio life over the last 9 days with lots of surf training in very some crazy heat! They had an awesome opening ceremony performing an outstanding haka representing our country proud.

The comp kicked off yesterday with the U16 boys + girls, Tao surfed to a great start coming 1st in his heat for round 1.

Round 2 will be next few days, all the action will be via isasurf.org

We can't thank you all enough for your huge support with Tao and his ISA World Junior campaign.

The countdown is on!

The NZ Junior Surfing Team had a fantastic weekend of training in Raglan in preparation for their upcoming trip to Brazil for the ISA World Junior Surfing Championships.

The team travelled to Raglan alongside surf coaches Khan Butler and Matt Scorringe. The weekend was action packed working on surf techniques and comp drills, fitness and mindset with @refinery.whaingaroa and a special visit from Grandmasters World Champion and WSL Priority judge Iain 'Ratso' Buchanan.
