    Hi everyone,

I wanted to take a moment to update you all on my recent competitions and, more importantly, thank you for your incredible support!

I’m happy to report that both myself and the entire New Zealand men’s team exceeded our expectations in the recent competitions.

The first event was the Horton Challenge at the Fort Worth Convention Center. I managed to secure a bronze medal on Floor in my division, and my team of four came second in the team event! We also had the incredible opportunity to meet Olympic medalist Jonathan Horton, after whom the competition is named.

The second event was the Valeri Liukin Invitational at the Ford Center in Frisco. This was a huge competition with over 8,000 competitors from 13 countries, including Japan, the Netherlands, Spain, Canada, and more. I earned a bronze medal on Parallel Bars, and in the team event, we won the Level 9 team trophy by a small margin!

Competing on an international stage was an amazing experience, and we were all blown away by the sheer size of the meets. It was also incredibly inspiring to witness some of the fantastic gymnastics performed by other athletes.

Your donations have made such a difference in helping me get here, and I’m so grateful. I’m more motivated than ever to keep pushing forward, and I’m excited for what’s to come!

Thank you once again for your generosity and encouragement!

    Cheers,

    J-D
