GIVE GENEROUSLY to a whānau who need practical support to get through this incredibly hard next season!

Christchurch, Canterbury

Many of the She Is Not Your Rehab community will know of our beloved brother Jordon Rangitohereri.

We first met Jordon through a men’s healing hui that we facilitated in 2019. This is a man who had spent many years of his life in gangs, in and out of prison, struggling with addiction after a life of childhood trauma then losing his beloved son Moko Rangitoheriri who died in 2015 from injuries he received during prolonged abuse at the hands of his (then) caregivers.

This man is the very definition of a CYCLE BREAKER who in the past 5+ years we have had the honour of witnessing him boldly and bravely break cycles to become who he is today.

Now our brother and his whānau urgently need us to pull up. In the past year Jordon has been fighting stage 1 cancer, undergoing multiple surgeries and has lost his brother Maui & most recently his sister Atareta to sudden unexplained deaths.

The grief, sadness and sudden loss of health has taken an immense toll on Jordon and his entire whānau and this week, after returning home from burying his sister it has been confirmed that their beautiful sweet 7 year old daughter Kaylee has been diagnosed with a rare form of lymphoma cancer which she begins treatment for immediately.

We invite our community to GIVE GENEROUSLY to a whānau who need practical support to get through this incredibly hard next season. Every cent is welcomed to financially ease the burden so that they can focus on now healing their precious kōtiro.
