We need to raise $14,500 to top up our detection toolkit with new smart detection and control technology.
Nelson / Tasman
COVID19 has changed the way we operate, a large number of volunteers are no longer able to venture out to the Sanctuary to monitor and replenish detection devices so we need to enlist new ways of detecting and managing predator control. There is a solution – ZIP Moto-Lure dispensers & Trail Cameras. We need to raise $14,500 to top up our detection toolkit with this new technology.
ZIP Moto-Lures are automated dispensers capable of dispensing a fresh food lure every day for up to a year without requiring manual service and Trail Cameras enable us to monitor activity around the lures day and night. Each lure, camera and accessory combination will cost around $580.
Your generous support in sincerely appreciated.
We're restoring a place where native plants and animals thrive, without threat from introduced pests, alive with birdsong… where rare species such as kiwi, tuatara and kakapo will roam freely... where hundreds of volunteers are making a tangible difference... where families and school groups can see native flora and fauna close to home… where visitors can experience the ‘original world.’
Funds raised will be used to purchase dispenser and camera combos.
