Help our family say the hardest goodbye and try to adjust to life without mum
Whanganui, Manawatu-Wanganui
Four years ago my wife began a battle with cancer that changed our lives forever. Through surgeries, treatments, and countless hospital visits she has fought with incredible strength and courage.
Recently we received the devastating news that she has only weeks left to live.
She is not only my wife and best friend — she is the heart of our family and an amazing mother to our son, who is non-verbal autistic and depends heavily on her love, care, and routine every single day.
Because of her illness, she was unable to get life insurance, which means when she passes there will be no financial safety net for our small family.
This page isn’t easy for me to write, but I want to do everything I can to make sure my son has stability and support after losing his mum.
My wife has shown unbelievable strength throughout this fight. If you are able to help in any way — whether through a donation or simply sharing this page — it would mean the world to us during the most difficult time of our lives.
Thank you for taking the time to read our story and for supporting our little family.
Anyone who has had shared experienced and can offer any advice, those words will be greatly appreciated
Any donations will be spent on funeral costs, childcare and support for our son, time off work so I can be there for him when she goes. And basic living expenses while we adjust to life without her
