  • First big surgery successful

    Hunter has come through his big operation with flying colors. The procedure went very well taking much less time than first anticipated. He is sporting a big scar from ear to ear but his first 24 hours of recovery has gone as well as could be expected. Thank you to all of you for your support for our lil man. He's got a long road ahead but he's doing well. Update:The surgeons have just come around this morning and have decided he needs a blood transfusion to bring his levels up, back in with a needle to get a line in and get him back up and running properly

  • Day 2 - Overnight starship before big op

    Hi all,

    Hunter is all ready for his big operation today, had a nervous overnight stay in starship last night.

    Doesn't much like the hospital, but he seems OK today, thanks for the support everyone, fingers crossed all goes well for today xx

    We have finally got a date for Hunters first head surgery , 12th September with 7 days stay in Starship children's hospital.

  • First surgery smooth and successful

    Hunters first surgery to repair a hernia in his lower abdomen went well and he handled the anesthetic well which is good news for his big ops coming up. First leg done he's just recovering and catching up on a good feed, thankyou to everyone for you messages of support xx

    Hunter has finally been given a date for his tummy surgery Wednesday 02nd August at starship. We are happy that he is getting underway and we are closer to putting it all behind us. His head surgeries still to be confirmed. Thankyou everyone for your support this far it is greatly appreciated. Xx Gill fam
