Swimathon success

Ka rawe to all the swimmers who joined us for the Swimathon on Sunday.
We had 15 width swimmers and 10 length swimmers. Everyone did so well. It was so inspiring to watch the children, teenagers and adults swim lap after lap, taking breaks when needed and then going again. Amazing!

Thanks to everyone who helped on the day by getting in the water to assist the width swimmers, counting laps for your children, preparing certificates, taking registrations and being all round super encouraging!
Even though we strongly encourage the children to view the event as a personal challenge (rather than a race against others) it's fun to offer cash incentives for those who really like to push themselves. Here's a list of our cash prize winners with the number of laps they swam:
